This page explains what information Unifora collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.
Last updated: September 9, 2026
1. Who we are
Unifora ("Unifora", "we", "us") operates the website unifora.eu.cc and related applications and browser extensions (the "Service"). This policy applies to visitors and users of the Service.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and password (stored encrypted) when you create an account.
- Content you write: text you submit for rewriting, grammar checking, or other editing features, processed to generate suggestions.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, and general interaction data, collected automatically to improve the Service.
- Device and log data: browser type, operating system, IP address, and timestamps.
- Payment information: handled by our payment processor; Unifora does not store full card numbers.
3. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve writing suggestions and related features.
- To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.
- To monitor and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- To understand aggregate usage trends and improve the Service.
- To show relevant advertising on free-tier pages, where applicable (see Section 6).
We do not sell the content of your drafts, and we do not use your written content to train third-party foundation models without your explicit opt-in.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Unifora uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure site performance, and — where enabled — to support advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for details on the specific cookies used.
5. Legal basis and data sharing
We process personal data on the basis of contract performance (providing the Service), legitimate interest (security, product improvement), and consent (marketing communications, non-essential cookies). We share data with service providers who help us operate the Service, such as hosting, analytics, email delivery, and payment processing providers, under contractual confidentiality obligations. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
6. Advertising
Pages on this site may display advertising served by third-party networks, including Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ad Settings or via www.aboutads.info. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.
7. Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Draft content processed for suggestions is retained only as long as needed to provide the feature, unless you choose to save it to your document history. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@unifora.eu.cc. If you are in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. International transfers
Where data is transferred outside your country of residence, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, consistent with applicable data protection law.
10. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate, through additional notice.
